Municipal Services Building Closes Temporarily for Renovations

Staff is temporarily moving out of the Municipal Services Building effective Jan. 17, as renovations will take approximately 9 to 10 months. During this time, you may need to visit a different facility when conducting business with the city in person. Several city services continue to be available at MyClearwater.com.
Departments that are relocating include these listed below:
- Utility Customer Service’s bill-payment and meter reading teams have moved to Clearwater Gas at 777 Maple St.
- Human Resources is moving to the third and fourth floors of the Main Library.
- The Human Resources Training Center will be located on the third floor in the Library Media Room at the Main Library.
- Portions of Parks & Recreation will move to the Ultimate Medical Academy building at 1255 Cleveland St.
- Most of Public Works and Engineering is moving to the Old Countryside Library, 2741 State Road 580.
- The city’s parking team is moving to the Garden Avenue Garage, 28 N. Garden Ave.
- Planning and Development is moving to the Old Countryside Library, 2741 State Road 580.
- Code Compliance is moving to the Old Countryside Library, 2741 State Road 580.
- Finance is moving to the Ultimate Medical Academy building at 1255 Cleveland St.
As for the New City Hall, the property has been turned over to our contractor, and construction has begun. The project is expected to be complete in Fall 2026.
