What We Do

The mission of the Clearwater Police Department is to consistently provide effective, professional and dependable law enforcement services to every citizen, visitor and business within the city of Clearwater.

Clearwater officers embrace a “preservation-of-all-life” philosophy and practice a community policing approach that is customer-service-centric. Office of Professional Standards
Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; voicemail messages may be left 24 hours. Includes internal affairs, accreditation, and staff inspections; receives and investigates questions and complaints about police employees and operations; conducts internal inspections and reviews to ensure compliance with laws and standards. Records Section
Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. For copies of accident, crime, and incident reports, records checks, solicitor permits, and police activity reports.
Closed in observance of these holidays: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day After Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.
