CareerSource Florida Flex The FloridaFlex suite of tools includes Quick Response Training, a customized grant program to help cover training costs for new hires, and Incumbent Worker Training, a flexible grant program to assist small businesses with employee skills upgrades.
CareerSource Incumbent Worker Training For-profit, small businesses may be eligible for a reimbursement of up to 75 percent of training costs for continuing education and training of incumbent employees at existing Florida businesses.
CareerSource On-the-Job Training Reimbursement of up to 50% of wages paid during the training period. Employers retain complete control of all hiring decisions, and receive recruitment and job posting services, and assistance with candidate prescreening at no cost.
CareerSource Paid Work Experience The focus of the Paid Work Experience program is hiring young adults to learn in-demand skills at no cost to employers. Reimbursement of up to 100% of wages paid throughout the training period via employer’s payroll.
CareerSource Quick Response Training New businesses or those relocating to or expanding in Florida may be eligible for grant dollars to help pay for training new employees. Applications are reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis until available funding has been awarded. The Quick Response Training program provides grant funding for customized, skills-based curriculum development and training, through partial reimbursement.
