Below are the road and lane closures happening in the city of Clearwater:

Utility Projects

  • Northbound traffic of Stewart Boulevard between Summerlin and Williams drives is currently closed through Nov. 20, due to stormwater line repairs. Follow posted detour signs.

Road Construction

  • Beginning Nov. 6, a westbound inside/median lane of State Road 60 from Island Way to the Clearwater Memorial Causeway Bridge will be closed through Dec. 6, weather permitting, so crews can perform drainage improvements. The inside median lane will be closed for the entire project. Additionally, a pedestrian detour will be implemented on the south side of the corridor. This is a project by the Florida Department of Transportation.
  • Cincinnati Parkway between Drew Plaza and Drew Street is currently closed through Nov. 22, due to a depression in the southbound lane just north of Drew Street. Follow posted detour signs. Crews from the Florida Department of Transportation will make the repair.
  • North- and south-bound median lanes of Island Way, between Skiff Point and Dory Passage, will be closed for approximately eight months. The project started Aug. 29 and goes through May 2025. The closure is due to the replacement of an iron cast water main along with other underground utility work. Flaggers will be present at times, so expect some traffic delays.
