Cooper's Point Preserve and Cooper's Point Park Cooper's Point Preserve is approximately 380 acres and is located near the Nova Southeastern University Campus in Clearwater. The land is currently being used to study water quality, tidal flushing, mangrove and other wetland habitats, wildlife utilization and recreation opportunities. Kapok Park Kapok Park is located on the west side of McMullen Booth Road just north of Drew Street and connects to the Ream Wilson Trail. The park has a very relaxing atmosphere with large open spaces, an almost mile long nature trail, historic moss-covered oak trees, bridges over tranquil and serene waters and a scenic boardwalk. There are boardwalks throughout the park.
