BRIEF DESCRIPTION: Notice is hereby given that the City of Clearwater Community Redevelopment Agency (the “CRA”) will accept sealed letters of interests (“LOIs”) beginning on July 19, 2026, until thirty (30) days thereafter with such date being 10:00 A.M., Local Time, August 18, 2026, from qualified persons and groups interested in purchasing the following described property:

Address commonly known as: 103 N East Avenue, Clearwater, FL

Parcel Identification Number: 16-29-15-32292-015-0080 

Legal Description: Lots 8, 9, 10, and 11, Block 15 of Gould and Ewing’s 2nd Addition to Clearwater Harbor, according to the map or plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book 1, Page 52 of the Public Records of Hillsborough County, Florida, of which Pinellas was formerly a part.

No responsibility will attach to the City, its employees, or agents for premature opening of a LOI that is not properly addressed and identified. Email or fax submissions will not be accepted. Late submittals will not be considered.

DESCRIPTION. The CRA seeks a buyer to acquire the above-referenced property for the purpose of future community redevelopment efforts in the Downtown Community Redevelopment Area. The property in question should be used to support development opportunities that are consistent with the Downtown Community Redevelopment Area Plan, including the Downton Core Character District.  The vision for the district includes making it an entertainment destination including active waterfront, marina, cultural events and attractions, festivals, markets, restaurants, bars, brewpubs/microbreweries, theaters and shopping attractive for all ages. The proposal shall include a minimum purchase price of $875,000.

The CRA shall consider all LOIs received in a timely manner. The CRA reserves the right to reject any or all LOIs, to waive technicalities, to re-advertise, and to otherwise conduct this process in the manner it deems to be in the best interests of the public. LOIs will also be evaluated based on the criteria required by Fla. Stat. § 163.380(2).
