Look Up Current Utility, Solid Waste and Recycling Rates

The charges on your city of Clearwater utility bill are based on the services available and your consumption. Each service provided has a minimum availability charge to recover a portion of the fixed costs of providing the service to the location.

Locations in city limits with a meter that is 5/8th inch will receive a minimum bill for usage from zero to four units (zero to 2,992 gallons).

As of October 1, 2026, the minimum bill for Clearwater utility customers in city limits is $139.21. The charges that make up the minimum bill are the following:

• Water, $31.95
• Wastewater, $44.01
• Solid Waste, $38.66
• Recycling, $3.92
• Stormwater, $17.47
• Utility tax, $3.20

Availability fees may apply for water, reclaimed, and other services. Rates are subject to change based on location, meter size and measured usage.

Here are some fees that your account could be subject to:

• Water turn-on fee: $60
• Water turn-on fee after hours (after 3:30 p.m.): $120
• Water read for change fee (transfer): $75
• Gas turn-on fee (next business day and beyond): $80
• Gas turn-on fee after hours (after 3:30 p.m.): $140
• Gas turn-on fee (same day, if available): $140
• Gas read for change fee (transfer): $50
• Gas CGI fee (couldn't get in): An adult must be present between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on the scheduled date. If no one is available, a $50 trip fee will apply and the appointment will be rescheduled.
