Safehouse of North Greenwood is operated by the Sergeant Allen Moore Community Partnership. Safehouse provides substance abuse intervention, counseling, outpatient treatment services, and support for individuals and families in need. The organization also serves the community by providing clothing donations and meals for those experiencing homelessness.
The mural features Sergeant Allen Moore and illustrates the many ways Safehouse supports the North Greenwood community. Through vibrant imagery, the artwork highlights themes of hope, compassion, community engagement, faith, and neighborhood pride, celebrating the organization's lasting impact and commitment to serving others. The mural was created as part of Clearwater's 2026 Art Oasis Mural Festival and was funded by the Clearwater Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA).
About the Artist: "Central to my artistic practice is a desire to revive the innocence of our childhood selves. I strive to reconnect with the wonder, curiosity, and authenticity that often diminishes as we navigate adulthood's complexities. By integrating elements of playfulness and whimsy, I create spaces where viewers can reflect on their own experiences of joy and vulnerability.
