Pinellas Trail

The Fred Marquis Pinellas Trail is owned by Pinellas County and is a linear trail that stretches across Pinellas County. The trail was created along a portion of abandoned railroad corridor and provides a unique, protected greenspace for walking, jogging, skating, and biking.

Trail Maintenance

The City of Clearwater is dedicated to the proper maintenance of the trail system. Park personnel conduct trail inspections every Monday and Friday, after storms, events, and by request, to ensure the safety of our trail users.

Bicycle and Pedestrian Program

This program seeks to increase overall mobility by providing an integrated non-motorized network of bicycle and pedestrian facilities and beautiful multiple use trails throughout the City of Clearwater for the purposes of recreation, conservation, education, transportation and economic development.

 

There are several ways you can get involved:

  • Volunteer for the Trail Patrol
  • Request a Safety Booth at your next event
