Public Advisory: Sewer Leak Affecting Sand Key

Clearwater Public Utilities crew have responded to a sanitary sewer force main break located beneath the Sand Key Bridge. City crews are working alongside our point repair contractor and coordinating the efforts required to complete the necessary repairs. Utility personnel will remain on-site until all repair work has been completed. 

Residents and motorists should anticipate significant traffic delays in the affected area, particularly between Parkway Drive at Gulf Boulevard and the 1400 block of Gulf Boulevard. Drivers are advised to avoid the area when possible, as delays are expected throughout the duration of the repair process.

Additional updates will be issued as work progresses.
