Boil-Water Orders in Clearwater
2/20 New leak is near the same location. Crews are on site working to repair the water main. Crews will be closing the north bound lane on Ft. Harrison between Pierce St. and Park St. to make the repairs.
2/19 A contractor has struck a 6-inch water main on Fort Harrison north of Pierce St. Crews are currently on site working to shut down the affected main. It is not known at this time whether a boil water notice will be issued.
A contractor has struck a 4-inch water main on South Prospect Street between Chestnut Street and Turner Street. Crews are currently on site working to shut down the affected main. Crews have issued a precautionary boil water notice for addresses: South Prospect- 507 & 509 and Chestnut- 815, 901 suites A, B, C, D and E. No restaurants or food establishments were affected.
As of 2/17 the water samples have cleared for Byram Ave. and residents can resume regular water use.
A 6-inch cast iron water main break occurred this morning naturally due to no outside sources. Crews are on site accessing the damage and are shutting down this section of the water main. Precautionary boil water notice in effect until further notice. The addresses affected are 1977, 1981, 1985, 1989, 1995, 1992, 1984 & 1980.
