Clearwater Fire & Rescue participates in the Smoke Alarm Giveaway Program for those residents of Clearwater who are unable to purchase an alarm. Clearwater Fire & Rescue also installs smoke alarms for citizens that are in need of special assistance.
The Clearwater Fire & Rescue is pleased to provide you with a smoke alarm to help protect you and your family. It is your responsibility to properly maintain this alarm by checking batteries monthly and replacing batteries on an annual basis. The average life span of this alarm is 7-10 years. Please make arrangements for replacement at the appropriate time.
