Centennial Oak by Douwe Blumberg

“Centennial Oak,” by artist Douwe Blumberg, fuses a sinuous metal trunk with a translucent, vibrant leaf canopy to produce a piece of contemporary sculpture and modern art vision. The 14-by-10-by-18-foot installation incorporates acrylic leaves, an aluminum canopy, and various metal trunks and branches. Clearwater residents and visitors can view this vibrant work at the entrance of Clearwater’s Main Library at 100 N. Osceola Ave.
